Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Brotherly/Sisterly Love

In our culture today, boys/girls have trouble being just friends because they are teased for it, encouraged to have more than just a friendship with them, and so on.
But God gave us fellow Christians which are part of our spiritual family. They are our brothers and sisters united together in Christ. They are there to encourage and strengthen each other.
I encourage each and everyone one of you to have fellow siblings in Christ. Even those of opposite sex with you.
Just be careful. Guard your heart. Don't give them your heart. Keep it just a friendship, because even if you aren't trying to,  it can easily become more than that.

The Fear of Failure

Now, don't we all have that fear. The fear of failure. You won't try something because you "know" it's going to end with your hopes/dreams in a heap of ruin. You don't want to look bad in front of others. You just can't stand failing period.
Well, is the fear of failing really something we need to be afraid of? The Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13). So, what do we have to fear? Yes, God might allow us to fail, but He has a reason in all things. Plus the Bible also says that God works all thing together for good if we are of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Get out there and follow God's calling, not fearing that you will fail, but knowing that if you fail, God will work it all out and make you grow through it.
